This is the alternate design for my Electronic Imaging I project to create a biographical portrait. This one felt a bit too dark and “sketchy” for that class, even though I like this one better. The design I passed in can be found here: [link]

I’m not trying to make a series about obscure Rebel Alliance pilots, I swear . . .

This is of Arvel Crynyd, the leader of the A-Wing and X-Wing Green Squadron during the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi. Towards the end of the battle, his A-Wing was hit by Imperial fire and veered out of control, flying directly into the bridge of Darth Vader’s massive flagship the Executor. This kamikaze move resulted in the Executor nose-diving into the even more massive Death Star.

The Executor Background was from the end of the Shadows of the Empire Comic.

Also, well this was too "Dark"? This isn't dark enough? You should've gotten some pictures of him screaming and flying his A-wing in the bridge, Executor's bridge on fire and the ship crashing. That would make it "dark". But cool and awesome!

I like these pieces about the lesser known characters (Porkins included). Also pretty awesome is the view of the Executor from an angle that you never really see. It looks really good
